My RX is a all valve (tube) set based on a design from the 1959 ARRL handbook, called the simpleX super as its a superhet with a xtal filter: but in my case the filter is an improved ladder filter design by Dave G3UUR

the TX is is a single 807 xtal oscillator running into another 807 as the PA with a maximum of 50 watts out (700 volts on the anode of the PA) most of the xtals are hand ground.
